We read the official pages every day and tell you, in English and Portuguese, on the day something you sell against changes.
AIMA announcements
AIMA published one new item on its announcements listing on 18 September 2026: «Formulário de Contacto temporariamente indisponível». The item's own page was opened and read. AIMA states that its contact form — contactenos.aima.gov.pt — «estará temporariamente indisponível devido a uma intervenção técnica programada para atualização da respetiva plataforma tecnológica», intended to «reforçar a estabilidade, a segurança e a evolução do serviço». The window is given precisely: «O Formulário estará indisponível entre as 09h00 e as 12h00 de domingo, 20 de setembro de 2026.» During those three hours «não será possível aceder ao Formulário de Contacto, nem realizar operações através desta plataforma», and users may return «assim que o serviço for reposto». No alternative channel is named for that window: the only other contact route the page carries is AIMA's Contact Centre, (+351) 217 115 000, open «Segunda a sexta, das 08h00 às 20h00» and therefore closed on a Sunday. Nothing else moved — no requirement, document, fee, threshold or deadline changed, and a three-hour scheduled outage of one contact channel is not a change to how any application is filed. One item aged off the bottom of the listing in the same rotation, «Familiares UE nacionais de países terceiros: documentos necessários para apresentar pedido» (14.08.2026): the list moving, not a notice being withdrawn.
